Shirley's text woke me up in the morning. The next thing I did was to turn on the TV. I made a few switches and found nothing. Turn on the laptop and checked CNN.com.
晴天霹雳! (Literally it means lightning in a sunny day; great shock)
He gave me nightmares but "You Are Not Alone" is the first and only song that can move me to tears. I do not know exactly how I was feeling then. I was quite empty at first. I even had the moment where I thought everything is made up. Apparently, he is closer to my heart than I thought.
It is not too difficult to imagine the kind of childhood he had. It is also not hard to know why he chose to live a life as such. The impact of racism leads us no where but to hell. MJ was and will be a living example. He illustrated how much he wanted to get "dislabelled". What did we say about it?
Alex was telling a joke on the way home.
Student: Teacher, is God a man or a woman?
Teacher: God is neither a man or a woman.
Student: Is God, then, black or white?
Teacher: Neither, my dear.
Student: I have a conclusion. God is Michael Jackson.
It was funny until an image comes to mind. I recalled the great fear I had for MJ while I was younger. I saw his interview on TV and he had lipstick on. I asked mom why he did that and I think mom said something like, "He probably likes it." I was homophobic I guess...
He touches my heart constantly. Despite what he did, his songs always do.
You'll be always in my heart, MJ. So long...
